On August 18th. the Swiss Epic will start with the KMC duo Roel Verhoeven and Tim Smeenge. The Swiss Epic is a five days stage race for mountainbikers which will lead the riders from Laax via Arosa to the finishing place Davos over 333 kilometers and more than 12.000 altimeters.
For both bikers it will be their first participation to this tough mountainbike stage race. Last year the duo Verhoeven-Smeenge finished a solid fifth place in the end classification of the Transalp.´It’s a remarkable year and the Swiss Epic will be one of our first races after a period of the compulsary break. Of course we are looking forward to this epic race in the Swiss Graubünden area.´, stated Verhoeven and Smeenge.
