A new marathon in Oldebroek in which Gerben Mos participated today brought him a second place. The organising mountainbike club had created a challenging course of twenty kilometers including a motorcross circuit. The riders had to cover this lap five times.
‘From the start I was driving the pace with my TransAlp mate Robbert de Nijs kop and after ten kilometers only Anne-Mark van der Vlag could follow us. Halfway course he also dropped and and it was between Robbert and me. A sprint would be decicive but Robbert was tof ast for me. I look back satisfied to this race where we really challenged each other today.’, stated Mos.
