Last year Gerben Mos arrived solo in Norg winning ‘de Veldslag om Norg’. This year a final sprint decided the race after hundred kilometers. Robbert de Nijs, Mark de Maar and Gerben Mos crossed shortly behind each other the finish line in this fast offroad race for mountainbikers, cycle crossers and gravel racers.
‘Near Assen we managed to escape with around six riders. I already noticed Robbert was really strong and it would be very difficult to beat him today and win this race again. In the final he started a long sprint and nothing more than a third place behind Robbert and Mark was left for me.’, stated Mos.
